Washington, D.C. – Congressman Faleomavaega, Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, today released the following remarks regarding President Obama’s announcement on new executive actions to preserve and protect our oceans and marine ecosystems in the Pacific.
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Faleomavaega today congratulated Congressman George Miller of California, former Chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee (2007-2010), on the unveiling of his official portrait at an invitation-only event in the U.S. House of Representatives last week. Congressman Miller was joined by his colleagues in the House, including Congressman Faleomavaega, who thanked him for his leadership in the Committee and his years of service.
Washington, D.C. - Congressman Faleomavaega announced today that the Senate Finance Committee passed a two-year extension of the American Samoa Economic Development Credit for 2014 and 2015.
“I want to thank Chairman Ron Wyden and Ranking Member Orrin Hatch of the Senate Finance Committee for agreeing to include, at my request, an extension of the American Samoa Economic Development Credit in the Expiring Provisions Improvement Reform and Efficiency (EXPIRE) Act,” Faleomavaega said.
